WITHOUT Energizer for IMS Connect:

- No Dynamic Functionality Changes IMS Connect must be recycled for any change

- User Exits Assembler exits must be coded and maintained Enhanced functionality is the customer’s responsibility and must be coded in

the user exits – Workload Balancing – Resource Availability Checking – Security

- Minimal Information Statistics are not available Native Commands lacking in function and data

- Diagnostics Problem resolution can be difficult
