The travel industry has seen signi�cant changes over the years, with market segments and their needs taking a new direction and destination marketing organizations reinventing themselves not just to thrive but also to cope with the changing tides.
To shed light on the matter, renowned tourism practitioner, lecturer and corporate trainer, Miss Barkathunnisa will speak on 13th November 2014 at the Union Ballroom, Hilton Residences at 6 p.m. on emerging markets in the tourism sector with a special focus on riding the Chinese wave.

Miss Barkathunnisa is a Singapore based tourism practitioner, lecturer and corporate trainer with more than 25 years of extensive experience in management within the Tourism and Hospitality industry. She holds a Masters in Business Administration, specializing in Hospitality and Tourism Management and is currently pursuing her PhD. in Tourism Education and Ethics. She engages in regional consultancy work in Tourism Development and has worked with several foreign tourism institutes in Vietnam and Bhutan.
