Dear Centre Members.
I cannot believe how fast these years are going by now we are at the end part of 2017, we will be soon be
welcoming in 2018 a start to another New Year, however before we do that I would just like to say thank you
for your support over this past year, it’s been very much appreciated.
I would like to take a moment to think about our members who have sadly passed to the angels and may they
now be in peace.
Sadly gone, but not forgotten.
The Rally book is in its final stages of production. Thank you, Martin.
We hope to see more people rallying in 2018 and supporting various venues & rally sites that the stewards have
kindly laid on for us.
The Christmas party held at Hillhead Brixham, excellent weekend the children loved.
Well done. HO HO HO.
It’s great to see our New Year rally full, Dave and I are looking forward to meeting rallier’s at the New Year
rally in Charmouth, let the party commence!

Time to leave your touring unit home, dig out the glam rags
and spoil yourself at the Annual Dinner Dance.
The hotel situated a stone throw from Fistral Beach with stunning views across the Atlantic, during your stay have a relaxing break in the pool, spa and steam room – or if you still have a few Christmas pounds lingering there is a well-

SOMETHING FROM THE SECRETARY
Well – it’s certainly been a steep learning curve for
me since taking over from Euphine after the AGM in
October. Who knew that so much goes on behind the
scenes in order to make the Centre and all the rallies
run so smoothly – I definitely didn’t, but I’m
learning fast!
I am very thankful to all the current and past
committee members for the help they have given me
since October. Without it I would have been
completely out of my depth.
Looking towards 2018, I am sure that the Centre
will go from strength to strength and I hope during
the coming year to meet many more Centre members
on the rally field.

Family Fun Rally – 20th to 22nd April 2018
Rally No: 3949 - Dolbeare Park Caravan and Camping -
Landrake (20 Pitches)
Join us at this beautiful award winning site situated in South East
Cornwall for Family fun. Our planned activities include; Arts and
Crafts, games and a cycling competition to name just a few.
Dolbeare Park itself is ideally located for exploring the stunning
Rame Peninsula and Whitsand Bay, with the lovely fishing village
of Looe just 20 minutes by car from the park. Facilities onsite
include a shop, toilet and free shower blocks, launderette,
dishwashing area and children’s play areas. Dogs are welcome.

Rally Book 2018 update
Your 2018 Rally book is nearing completion and it is our aim that it will be available for full viewing before
Christmas. This year your rally book will not automatically be sent out to you, instead we will be adding your
2018 Rally book to the D&C website http://www.dandccc.co.uk/ in a PDF format to allow you to view, download
or print at your leisure. It should be noted that home addresses cannot be shown due to Data Protection therefore
you will have contact the stewards for their addresses to send slips etc
However if you would prefer a hardcopy of the Rally book this can be arranged for a small fee to cover postage
and printing costs, please see below charges;
£2.00 for prepaid orders either paid via BACS or Cheque.
£3.00 from the Flag Officer during any D&C Rally.
To order your rally book please email the D&C Centre Treasurer at [email protected] providing the
following information;

The Centre’s preferred payment method is BACS, for which the Treasure can supply you the bank account details
on request, please can you include the payment reference in the format of “Rallybook18” followed by your
membership number to avoid processing delays.

please add “Rallybook18” and include your membership number.

So let us start by saying a big thankyou to the
Rally Stewards Martin and Catherine King, Assistant Stewards
Lin and John Heal and Madam Chairlady Michelle and Dave
Stuttaford for the tremendous effort that was put into making this
weekend so enjoyable for the Children and Adults alike.
Friday evening it was off to the sites club house to enjoy the
music of the local brass band followed by a sing a long of
Christmas songs.
On Saturday the Children had a fantastic time at their party first
with Wishy Washy and then a special visit was made by Santa.
The evening had us amazed with close up table magic this was
followed by a three course meal and evening entertainment.
