  • % of transplants reported to the CIBMTR by Brazil2010 - 2016*

    There isn't a national registry specific to HSCT in the country

  • How can we improve data collection in Brazil?

    Suit the Pre and Post TED form to Brazilian centersTranslate the TED forms

    Develop a course for Brazilian centersLet’s create a course:

    Start in 06/2016What is the reason for decreased reporting of data from Brazilian centers to CIBMTR?

    Brazilian centers thinking together about questions and solutions in order to increase reporting of data to CIBMTR

  • The development of the course started in 06/2016 andended in 12/2016;

    The course was developed through Captivate program,managed to capture images of the forms.

  • Conclusion

    Lack of HSCT data in Brazil is a real problem

    The CIBMTR tools can assist in establishing databases at each site with DBtC

    Training and education are key and a user friendly tool in Portuguese can help improve data collection and new center participation

  • We are expanding to include other forms in the e-learning and to translateto Spanish

    Since the start of this project there are three new CIBMTR centers which are initiating reporting

    Through this project we now have a data manager group with representatives from three centers that focus on training
