Over the next several years we will form
partnerships with local NGOs to expand our
reach in the community and create programs
to meet critical needs in the area.
We work in collaboration with communities, local government and other NGOs to develop
programs and services to meet our goals. Our quality programming coupled with fiscal
efficiency has earned us recognition from leaders in government, and in the corporate and
nonprofit sectors. We have built a strong organizational foundation that combines ethical
principals with best practices and research from the nonprofit world.
Hope Now is consistently working to establish relationships and partnerships with NGOs,
business institutions and government bodies to meet our children’s needs. We have
implemented onsite projects to generate revenue and provide life and job training skills, which
are essential to build a stable adult life.
In the summer of 2016, we moved from the country to Hyderabad to access greater
educational and community- based opportunities. We are now part of the Word & Deed
Campus in the Hayathnagar District - a large compound with an elementary/secondary school,
trade school and junior college and a HIV Clinic. Our kids are now attending an English medium
school with kids from the community.IN 2017WE PLAN TO;

Education does not stop at the end of primary/secondary school.
College or trade school is critical to the success of our kids. In 2014, the
Hope Now Scholarship Fund was created for the sole purpose of
paying college tuition and living costs to ensure our children have
access to higher education. As of June 2016, we have 12 students in
college or trade school.
Our 55-herd dairy moved with us to Hayathnagar. We are working to
combine our dairy with a small community dairy to form a commercial
size dairy. This kind of creative partnership offers an important avenue
for our kids to learn valuable life skills such as creating a business plan,
animal husbandry and building community partnerships.
Our new home has the remnants of a former Organic Farm
including 3 greenhouses and tillable land. We plan to rehabilitate
the facilities and restart the farm in the next year. This is another
example of how we continue to create opportunities for our kids to
learn job skills. We will grow food for ourselves and sell the balance.
We seek partners from the corporate world willing to invest in
India's future. At the end of the day this is not about numbers,
data or issues, this is about people and what kind of world we
want to live in. A world where children are cherished and loved
and given the opportunity to succeed, or a world where
possibility is determined by geography and happenstance?

As part of our long-term strategic planning, our new
campus will be home to others who are in desperate need
of safe harbor. Hope Now will coordinate to construct a
residential, rehabilitation facility working with women who
have been rescued from human trafficking. The plan to
house 50 women and provide a safe environment to learn
job skills, access to medical and mental health
professionals as they rebuild their lives is in motion.
ABOUTHOPE NOW
What we are about as an organization is creating a family out of the
pieces left behind when parents die of AIDS. Life is messy and
sometimes it is difficult to look at the harsh reality of suffering in the
world. Understanding the reality is the beginning of envisioning a
solution. We have to be open to what happens in the world in order to
make the change we want to see in the world.
We have worked for more than 10 years to build an environment where
everyone is welcome, respected, cared for and most importantly,
loved. We started with 7 kids. Hope Now is a home where 58 beautiful
children have created a family out of strangers and hope out of despair.
We focus on three key areas for the greatest impact - provide a safe,
loving, stable home; provide quality health care and nutrition;
and an education.
Hope Now is a registered charitable trust in India. All donations are tax exempt under 80G of the Income Tax Act. Hope Now also has nonprofit 501c3 status in the United States.
