Senior Stores Person – Crookwell Store Council is seeking a Senior Stores person to manage, operate and maintain the Council’s Crookwell Store. Council’s new kerbside garden waste collection service will commence on 5 September 2018 for households which currently receive kerbside waste and recycling collection. New green-lidded 240 litre garden waste bins have been delivered to homes across the Shire. Educational material, including information on what can and can’t go in the green-lidded bin and the new garden waste and recycling calendar, is being mailed out to households. All residents are encouraged to familiarise themselves with the educational material. The service will include fortnightly collections in autumn, spring and summer and no collections in winter. The new collection calendar has been created to maximise Council’s current resources. This means that from 3 September 2018 the Crookwell recycling collection will be moved to Monday and Tuesday (currently Tuesday and Wednesday) and the Binda/Lost River recycling collection will be moved to Friday (currently Thursday).
