By using destructible material to construct the tag itself we’ve made it virtually impossible to remove from the windshield in one piece – increasing the security features of the tag and the poten- tial applications in which the tag can be used. These increased security features make this the perfect product for access control ap- plications where security is a high priority or you want to eliminate the transfer of tags to other vehicles, i.e. loyalty programs at car washes, etc. Just like its non-destructible counterpart this tag features subsurface printing which ensures crisp details on even the most complex logos for maximum clarity. Four color processing is also available for lim- itless design and color options. This product utilizes passive RFID technology and provides a read range of approximately 18+ feet.* *Read range differs by environment and reader type

We’ve taken our best-selling RFID Windshield Tags and made themeven better! By using destructible material to construct the tag itselfwe’ve made it virtually impossible to remove from the windshield inone piece – increasing the security features of the tag and the poten-tial applications in which the tag can be used. Strategically placed se-curity slits also assist in the destruction of the tag. These increasedsecurity features make this the perfect product for access control ap-plications where security is a high priority or you want to eliminatethe transfer of tags to other vehicles, i.e. loyalty programs at carwashes, etc.

Just like its non-destructible counterpart this tag features subsurfaceprinting which ensures crisp details on even the most complex logosfor maximum clarity. Four color processing is also available for lim-itless design and color options. This product utilizes passive RFIDtechnology and provides a read range of approximately 18+ feet.*

Destructible RFID Windshield Tag SpecificationsTag Construction: RFID inlay encapsulatedbetween .002” thick destructible material

Label Copy: The label copy may include block type, stylized type, logos or other designs. All copy, block type, stylized type, logos, designs and bar code are subsurfaceprinted. This unique process provides excellent resistanceto solvents, caustics, acids and moderate abrasion.

Colors: Standard colors include: black, red, yellow, green and blue. Due to contrast needed for the bar codescanner, all bar codes are black.

Serialization: Bar code and human-readable equivalentis produced using the latest high-resolution digital tech-nology available, which provides excellent clarity andeasy scanning. Code 39 is the standard symbology with arange of 2.7 to 9.4 CPI (characters per inch). Optionalsymbologies include Code 128, 2D Data Matrix, QR andmore.

Programming: The bar code and human readable can beprogrammed into the RFID inlay as long as the informa-tion is in decimal or hexadecimal format. The pro-grammed information can be locked, which prevents the

RFID inlay from being rewritten. Metalcraft can encodeup to 24 characters into the RFID inlay. If desired, Metal-craft can encode information that differs from the barcode and human readable.

Frequency Range: UHF = 860-960 MHz; HF = 13.56MHz

Standard Sizes:4” x 1,” 43/8” x 13/8”

Standard Adhesive: .002” thick pressure-sensitive adhe-sive (MC78).Shipment:Approximately 20-25 work days depending onorder quantity and inlay availability.

Test ResultsThese tests were conducted for a limited period of time in strict laboratory conditions. In order to achieve maximum satis-faction we highly recommend that any customer considering use of this product test the labels in the environment in whichthey will be used.

Read Range Test: Tag has a read range of 18 ft using AR400 portal reader at 24 dbm (1/4 of maximum reader power) andhas a read range of 21 ft using Symbol MC906R handheld reader at 30 dbm (full power).

Temperature Test: Tag performs in temperature range of -13°F to 175°F. Note: Tag performance is limited to perform-ance of inlay.

Label Adhesion Test: This rating measures label adhesion after being exposed to chemicals listed below for a 2-hour, 24-hour and 72-hour soak.
