Alejandra Abulafia: Born to a traditional

Sephardic family in Montevideo, Uruguay. Ale-

jandra travelled to Spain in searching of her

roots and fell in love with Sefarad. Creator and

Director of Destino Sefarad, Association to divul-

gue the Sephardi culture.

She has developed a professional career as a

free lance journalist and scriptwriter, audiovi-

sual producer for media and press firms of Uru-

guay, Argentina, United States, Israel and Spain.

About us...

Ziva Freidkes: Born in Colombia to an Ashke-

nazi family. The axis of her career has been the

Jewish identity and culture. Ziva has worked in

the areas of education, events and communica-

tion in various organizations in Colombia, Israel,

Argentina and Spain.

Currently Ziva works as Communication and

Events Consultant for the Jewish Community of

Madrid, is the co-founder of Hebreo Vivo, He-

brew language and culture entrepreneurship

and is the co-director of Destino Sefarad Tours.
