Note: Install caps and plugs on all openings in order to prevent dirt or debris from entering the system.

Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be

thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal components.

Note: For easier assembly, mark all hose assemblies, tube assemblies, wire harnesses and cables for

identification purposes.

1. Remove hose assemblies (2) .

2. Disconnect hose assembly (1) .

Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates.

Personal injury can result from hydraulic oil pressure and hot oil.

Hydraulic oil pressure can remain in the hydraulic system after the engine

has been stopped. Serious injury can be caused if this pressure is not

released before any service is done on the hydraulic system.

Make sure all of the attachments have been lowered, oil is cool before

removing any components or lines. Remove the oil filler cap only when the

engine is stopped, and the filler cap is cool enough to touch with your bare

hand.

3. Disconnect hose assemblies (3) .

4. Disconnect hose assemblies (4) .

5. Disconnect harness assembly (5) at the electrical connection.

6. Remove bolt (6) and the washer in order to disconnect the harness assembly from the transmission.

7. Disconnect hose assemblies (7), (8), and (9) from the transmission.

8. Remove bolts (14) and the washers in order to remove manifold (13) and the O-ring seal. Removemanifold (13) and the O-ring seal.

9. Remove bolts (11) and the washers in order to remove tube assembly (12) and the O-ring seal.

Remove tube assembly (12) and the O-ring seal.

10. Remove two of the six nuts (15) and the washers from the bottom of the transmission.

11. Install Tooling (A), as shown.

12. Remove bolts (16) and the washers in order to disconnect the bracket that fastens the pilot lines to the

machine.

16. Repeat Step 14 and Step 15 for the remaining side.

17. Install Tooling (B) on the transmission, as shown.

18. Remove the remaining five bolts (19), four nuts, and the washers.

19. Install Tooling (C) in order to slide the transmission toward the front of the machine.

20. Use a suitable lift truck in order to remove the transmission. Remove the transmission and the O-ring

seal. The weight of the transmission is approximately 1300 kg (2820 lb).
