Details

Joints are securely fastened withscrews, glue, and solid hardwoodcleats to ensure maximum strength.

Drawer suspensions feature blackslides with precision steel ball bearingsto ensure long lasting, quiet, andsmooth operation. Box drawer sus-pensions are 3⁄4 extension. File andlateral file drawers are full extension.

Black filing rods are standard in allfile drawers and accommodate various filing requirements.

Rims on adjoining work surfaces(e.g., single-pedestal desk to a return) are miter cut to ensure a clean,flush fit.

Wood-door storage is avail able inplain-sliced or diamond-matchedveneer on selected models.

Glass-door storage features a crisscross glass pattern. Glass is tempered.

Hinged modesty panels are stan-dard on all bridges and returns foraccess to wall outlets.

Metal worksurface grommets are available factory installed; upcharge applies. Grommets are also availablefor field installation.

Exterior surfaces are available in thefollowing veneers:• Cherry (plain sliced, slip matched)• Maple (plain sliced, slip matched)• Walnut (plain sliced, book matched)• Sapele (quarter sliced, slip matched)premium veneer; upcharge applies

Veneers are carefully selected andmatched to assure proper balanceand consistency.

Pedestals are legal width on mostmodels.

Drawer fronts are 3⁄4" thick, 3-plyconstruction with vertically matchedgrain. 5-sided drawer constructionallows easy removal of drawer fronts.

Worksurfaces are 13⁄16" thick,3-ply balanced constructionwith a 1⁄2" wide solid wood rim.

Hinged access doors for cable rout-ing are located on the approach sideof desks.

Face-mounted locks are standardon all desks, credenzas, returns, andundersurface pedestals. Lock cylin-ders are removable if rekeying is nec-essary. Key random and key specific options are available.➤See page 6.12 for lock information.

Modesty Panels:

Modesty panels on returns andbridges are recessed 3" from the back edge of the worksur-face to create an area to storecords and cables. Recessed mod-esty panel allows the whole unit tobe placed flush against the wall.

Hinged modesty panel on returnsand bridges swing inward to alloweasy access to all outlets.

Key Random Option:When key random option is selected,key numbers will be assigned arbitrarily at the factory with key numbers ranging from KCCB001 to KCCB300.

Randomly numbered lock core(s) willship standard along with your orderfor field installation.

With random keying, different furnitureunits may or may not have the samekey number. If you must have all lockskeyed differently or all locks keyed thesame, choose the key specific option.

Key Specific Option:When key specific option is selected,the storage unit will be pre-drilled toaccept a lock core; however, no lockcores will be shipped standard withthe unit. If lock cores are standard onthe unit, the price of the unit isreduced by the price of the lock coreor cores.

You must specify lock core(s) separately for key specific option;specify any key number from KCCB001 to KCCB300.➤Contact Customer Service for avail-able key number range for black lockcores with round keys.
