RESTAURANT-YAMADA’S HOUSE
Megumi and Takehito Yamada have lived in America for 23 years and will be opening a restaurant in Bethpage, N.Y. in a few months. They have acquired a beautiful property on the shore with inspiring vistas. They would like a good portion of the seating to face the views. They will need a few stations for hibachi grills and a sushi bar. A spacious plan for traffic flow will be necessary for the chefs to bring out their food supplies. Megumi and Takehito are environmentalists and would like their restaurant to be built with sustainable materials.

HIROKI’S STUDIO
Hiroki is 22 years old and has grown to appreciate much of his Japanese culture and has spent much time learning and practicing martial arts. He is excited to be going into a new venture and opening his own studio next door to his parents new restaurant. He will be teaching martial arts and will have a portion of the studio dedicated to selling personal water fountains, candles, plants, bamboo mats, relaxing Japanese music CD’s, Japanese artwork, self-help books and other feng-shui items.
Hiroki loves simple clean lines and prefers classic design which can be described as timeless. The color palette will be greens, tans, browns and blues. The style will be Japanese Asian. Minimalist furnishings, tatami mats, paper lanterns and asymmetrical elements will create a fluid balance.

Harriet Carter has always been fascinated and enamored with fairies, unicorns, tarot cards and magical elements. Harriet and her husband Reginald are embarking on a new adventure in their lives and opening Harriet’s vision- “Blue Moon Enchantments.”Blue Moon Enchantments will carry perfumed oils, gemstone jewelry, unicorns, fairies, wind chimes, and have tarot card readings.
