BalanceBisymmetrical:Draw a line through the centre, and both sides are the same.

Asymmetrical:Draw a line through the centre, and both sides are different, but both sides are given the same weight or importance.

Balance: AsymmetricalProportion: The relationship of the size of each part of the design to the other parts:

Sizes of items should complement each other;

No strict rules, but it should be pleasing to the eye, or out of proportion for effect.

Rhythm: the force that leads our eye from one part of the design to another and evokes an emotional response

A still image can makes us feel calm or relaxed;

A busy image can make use feel excited or anxious.

Identical designs have a very different impact when published in different colours;

Also consider the way colours work together or work against each other.

The value of a colour can change its emotional response.
