Initial Type & Color Research

Rezland logotype Helvetica Trebuchet MS Impact I think these sans-serif fonts are good for titles for a

magazine as they are clear and stand out and are easy to read for possible buyers of the magazine.

I am going to experiment with complementary colours. Lots of magazines already do this so I am going to experiment with other combinations and themes. A good website to assist theme choices is http://colorschemedesigner.com/ it designs colour schemes which all work well together and are completely custom. I am most likely going to experiment with analogic and tetradic themes.

Final Colours & Typefaces

I continued using sans-serif fonts throughout the whole magazines, but changed typefaces.

I decided to use more darker shades with less bright colours in my final pieces to make the bright colours (mainly text) stand out of the page.

Further Design…

Lyrics included within CD graphic.

Typeface has a grainy texture which looks more like CD/Vynil.

Repeated graphic in type, design still visible.

Same idea with title text.
