Not enough hours in the day, we often say,

as we watch as the business of life allows time to slip away.

Before we know, days turn to months and months into years.

Time is mapped with laughter and cheers,

the long road sometimes marked with sadness and tears.

Elders pass and children grow…

“Has it been that long?” we ask, where does the time go?

Not every chance to gather is taken.

"We'll see them next time," we say and hope we're not

mistaken.

A chance like now comes once in a lifetime it seems,

when the bright light of family is nurtured and beams,

there will be laughter and time to reminisce

we will all be glad this is a chance we did not miss.

Jenny , 23, graduated college 2 years ago and is working for Maxim Healthcare Services as a Human Resource

Manager. She moved out of our house and has an apartment in Bridgeport, CT, about 5 miles away from us.

She has 2 loves - her cat Spencer, and her boyfriend Brendon. You can see both of them in these photos!

Emily, 22, graduated from Providence College in

May with a major in elementary education and a

minor in Spanish (she spent a semester abroad her

junior year in Alicante, Spain). She just started a

job with Disney Cruise Line as a Youth Program

Counselor and will be traveling between Florida

and the Bahamas on a cruise ship. The job is a 4

month contract after which she'll decide if she

wants to sign up for another 4 months, or come

home and look for substitute teaching jobs. She is

very excited and the cruise actually left July 7th

Ricky, 17, recently graduated from high school and

is planning to go to Lincoln Technical Institute in

the fall for Auto Mechanics. The school is in

Hartford CT so he will live away from home. He

enjoys skateboarding and computer games (and

cars).

Lynn Orrell (Paul)

Eric is 22 years old and graduated in May, 2013, from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, PA; BS in the School of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Health Services with a concentration in Biology. He is pursuing a career in health care (clinical, patient care). He is the cofounder and past president of the Jujitsu Club at SJU, was an active member of the Magis service program, played intramural basketball and saxophone in their Pep band. He also enjoys skiing. Eric currently lives in the Manayunk section of Philadelphia, PA, with a few college buddies.

Tim is 19 years old and is a rising sophomore at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. He is an English major with a Pre-MBA minor. Tim is involved in their soccer club, intramural basketball, community service and international clubs. He plans on studying abroad in his junior year. He loves to snowboard.

Valerie Centone (Al)

Gabrielle graduated from high school last week. She will be attending Endicott College in Beverly, MA, this fall majoring in sport management. She played field hockey (captain senior year) and softball (she's a pitcher) all four years of high school. She is planning to play at the intramural and possibly club level at Endicott.

Megan is entering her junior year of high school this fall. She is a cheerleader for the high school (a flyer) and believe me - it is a sport! Intense practices, competitions and the season runs from June through April! Not just cheering at football and basketball games like when I was in high school! She is also on the swim team at our pool club this summer.

Jerry lives in Brooklyn, NY and works for an online marketing co.

He is also in a band Los Encantados, plays bass guitar (losencantados.com). He will soon be 35.

Matt, 31, lives in Gainesville, FL. He is

Communications/Gov' Affairs Director @ GACAR.

Brian (right, both 22) is in his second year of

culinary school up in Santa Barbara. He comes home on occasion to fatten us up then

leaves to continue his culinary journey!

Jake (left) is finishing all his required courses for a program to become a Radiologic Technician.

He'll do an internship this fall/winter and apply for the program next spring.

He continues to have a steady girlfriend and a busy social life!

Mark still works at UC Berkeley at the Haas School of Business and lives in Alameda with his girlfriend, Lisa, her daughter, Natalie, and her son, Gavin (far

right). He coaches for Team in Training and is competing in his first Ironman Triathlon in Lake

Tahoe this September, actually on our mom, Nancy’s, birthday!

Annie Friedfeld McGourty (Mike)

David, 17, will be a senior in high school where he is a drummer for the jazz band and the marching band. He is interested in majoring in music in college and enjoys playing XBox with friends from all over the United States. Annie and Mike (an Executive Chef at The Cracked Crab in Pismo Beach, CA) are enjoying their 2nd year of marriage…and remodeling their home!

Tate, 13, is an honors student entering 8th grade. He is a defender on his club soccer team, and loves to hang out with his friends, skateboard, and bodysurf at the beach.

Chase, 11, is also an honors student and will be in 6th grade. Chase plays club soccer for the L.A. Galaxy Academy team, loves to read and hang out with his friends.

Elizabeth just turned 14 in June.

She is going into high school next year! LOVES to sing, sing, sing and also act.

Plays lacrosse, basketball and skis.

Grace turns 12 on July 4th and loves to dance and competes on a dance team. She also loves to ski and spend time with friends- a big fan of sleepovers!

John is almost 9 and loves to play baseball, ski and play Legos. He also is a cub scout, and is

super easy going and fun!

Amanda, 21, will be a fourth year student at Georgia College and State University. She is a member of ZTA sorority, and plays volleyball and tennis.

Michelle, 19, will be a sophomore next fall at Georgia Southern University. She likes to play volleyball and tennis and also enjoys running. She is also a member of Alpha Delta Pi sorority

Matthew, 15, enjoys most activities outside, as

well as video games. He loves tennis and is always

looking for someone to play!

Josh, 12, is entering 7th grade. He enjoys tennis, flag football, running, playing the saxophone, laser tag, bikes and video games.

Sarah, 9, is entering 4th grade. She enjoys dancing, swimming, singing, climbing trees and encouraging people.

Jackie Luann Nichols Peters, 28 (Lee, 27)

Jackie and Lee are expecting baby #3 on Dec 13. Lee works for Walmart corporate, and recently filmed a documentary which aired about the Joplin tornado, & also filmed at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. Jackie runs a photography business and bakes custom designer cakes. She sings, plays clarinet and makes pottery.

Adelaide is almost 4. She loves entertaining everyone! She loves singing and dancing, and takes ballet and tumbling classes.

Vivienne is almost 2. She loves doing whatever Adelaide and her cousin, Lucy, do and is never seen without a smile.

Jodie Ann Nichols Craddock

Jodie, 26, owns a Mary Kay business and is finishing her next promotion as a sales director this month. She just picked up her first free Mary Kay

car on Friday: a white 2014 Chevy Cruze! She paints, draws, sings and plays bass guitar and ia recently engaged to Dustin Reed, age 30. He's an architectural draftsman and project coordinator.

Their wedding is on Oct. 5th.

Lucille “Lucy” Ann is 3. She loves singing,

ballet and tumbling classes.

Tom and Cindy have been married for 21 years. Tom is a Principal at North Stafford High School in Stafford, VA. He has been in education for 22 years. In his spare time, he enjoys running, lifting weights, and spending time with his family. Cindy works at a bank in the commercial loan department. She enjoys spends her time

with her family, working out and taking long walks when not driving taxi for Chad and Melissa.

Melissa is a senior at her Dad's high school. She is on the Varsity Dance Team, Track Team and the

Vice President of the Renaissance Leadership Team. She also is involved in a variety of clubs, and

dances at a local dance studio.

Chad is entering his eight grade year in middle school and is involved in sports year round. He

participates in football, basketball, track, baseball and has recently started playing lacrosse. This past spring he was inducted into the

Junior National Honor Society.

Steven Hull Nichols During the recession, Steve decided to go into Hospitality, and what a great decision! After 2 years with the Hampton Inn in Cohoes, NY as a Guest Service Agent and Night Auditor, he was stolen by the Hampton Inn and Suites in Downtown Albany, NY. Wanting to then get into management, he went to work with a Marriot Property in Albany at the Spring Hill Suites, now a Stay Inn, as an Assistant GM. When the property was sold, he was the only team member to be asked to stay with the company and to fill in as an Executive Housekeeper at the Homewood Suites in Billerica, MA. Steve still loves to stay busy and has been married to his work for the last few years.

Margaret’s just moved to Washington DC to join fiancé, Brenton McMenamin, and start a new job as a civil engineer with Wetland Studies and Solutions, Incorporated. He moved out east last June to take a post-doctoral position at the University of Maryland, where he is a cognitive neuroscientist and primarily does research involving emotional processing in the brain. We met while in school at the University of Minnesota; he was getting a PhD from the Psychology department and I was getting a second bachelor's in Civil Engineering.

Kylie, 12 years old, has a junior black belt in

karate, played her first year of lacrosse this year,

and has been dancing for 6 years. Her favorite is

hip hop and ballet! She is very social, loves little

kids and animals, and likes to read.

Brendan, 10 years old, is a brown belt in karate, has played baseball for the last 2 years, loves Skylanders and Minecraft (video games), art and drawing, and reading...just finished the entire Harry Potter series!
