Program DesCriPtionUp to two thirds of patients with a primary skin complaint present to primary care providers. This one day course is designed to enhance primary care providers’ knowledge and comfort with dermatologic issues. Through case based discussions, we will focus on the approach to evaluating these patients, differentiating between the most common skin diagnoses, and choosing treatment options. We will cover skin signs of systemic disease, how to differentiate benign from malignant lesions, and dermatologic emergencies.
