1 UNDERTONE
The Department of Education of Puerto Rico (DEPR) hired the company SESAT
Solutions to develop a portal for Single Sign-On (SSO). The main purpose of the
portal SSO is to group all the DEPR applications on a single site, a single user and a
single password.
Currently, most applications are accessed through the link Intraedu 24/7 which is at
the bottom of the portal www.de.gobierno.pr. The user presses the link which
redirects to a page where all URLs are each application. Once the desired application
link is pressed, a page to enter the username and password for each application. This
situation makes it difficult for the user to remember multiple credentials for each
application.

obtained:
• Standardizing the governance framework for managing users.
• Monitoring, reporting and tracking compliance with established policies.
• Centralize authentication, authorization and accounting of users.
• Reduction in the cost of the call center.
