SUBJECT DPWH STANDARD DESIGNDRAWINGS (ROADS)

In line with the mandate of the Department of providing effective standards to beused in the implementation of various infrastructure projects, the attached standarddesign drawings for roads are hereby prescribed, for the guidance and compliance of allconcerned:

1. Concrete Sidewalk

2. Precast Concrete Curb and Gutter

3. Precast Concrete Curb

4. Raised Median Island

,5. Auxiliary Lanes for Right and Left Turning Vehicles (Design Speed = 40 kph)

The use of PrecastConcrete Curb and Precast Concrete Curb and Gutter shall bemandatory for all road projects. Cast-in-place concrete curb and gutter may still beadopted provided that concrete paver shall be used.

This Order shall take effect immediately.
