Denver Mile High Rotary Upcoming

Programs

July 29th - The Colorado Capitol Building has undergone a major

facelift in the last two years so now is a perfect time to see these

changes. Tom Cella will coordinate our early morning tour of this

beautiful building. IMPORTANT: We will meet at the U Club as

usual for breakfast then walk two blocks to the capitol building. Please wear

good walking shoes. We will be climbing on some scaffolding.

August 5th - Mark Fleecs, recently appointed Commander of Denver's Police

District 4, will be our guest speaker. He will talk about the ongoing problem of

gang violence in the Denver Metro area and the police departments strategy to

combat it.

August 12th - Our RYLA students will join us for this meeting. Plan on attend-

ing to support these wonderful young people.

August 19th - Rutt Bridges will be speak about the upcoming revolution in our

way of life - THE DRIVERLESS CAR. The implications of this change will be

immense and impact almost every aspect of our society. Mr. Bridges has con-

ducted major research on driverless cars and has written an e-book enti-

tled, Driverless Car Revolution: Buy Mobility, Not Metal.
