What are Dentures?When a person is missing teeth he or she may experience a variety of

dental problems. The person may become less confident in their smile and have difficulty speaking and eating certain foods.

Dentures are removable false teeth made of acrylic (plastic), nylon or metal.

Dentures are loose appliance used to replace the missing teeth and can be used to improved the patient's smile or ability to chew better.

The denture can be either a full denture or a partial denture. A full denture is used when all of the person's teeth are missing and a partial denture is used when only some of the teeth are missing.

Denture Care & Cleaning

How to keep your Mouth & Dentures Healthy?Some Denture Do's and Dont's

Clean your dentures at least twice a day – Every night & morning.

Brush your dentures daily before soaking them to remove the food and plaque.

Clean your dentures with denture cleaner.

When not wearing denture should be placed in cleander soaking solution in water.

Don't soak your dentures in hot water, which may cause them to warp.

Don't use toothpaste on your dentures, Toothpaste is abrasive & scratch your dentures.

Don't use toothpicks because its not like your natural teeth and you may poke or damage your dentures.
