MEDIA COMPANY
Dear Valued Customer,
As we enter our 109th year of serving our community and our customers, the Denton Record-Chronicle is evolving with the times. In 2011 we rebranded our company as the DRC Media Company - News
and Advertising Solutions. One company delivers it all.
More than ever, we are delivering important content that engages the quality audiences that you seek. Our focus is local/niche and we continue to invest in this effort with one of the largest news-
rooms of any newspaper our size. Nobody covers northern Denton County like we do!
We understand the challenge to gain cost-effective exposure to as many qualified audiences as pos-sible. We can provide you with that. Since our founding, the Record-Chronicle has enabled advertisers to reach desired audiences. Our daily newspaper remains the largest, most well-read and well-respected source of news and information in northern Denton County.
In the last few years we’ve launched several new print products to complement the DRC and expand our print audiences. From Denton Business Chronicle, our B2B direct-mail product; to Kid Life, our DISD-coop-
erative publication; to Denton Time; to Showcase magazine, aimed at our still-growing real estate market; to a local coupon page, Deal Finder; to our newest addition, Little d After Dark – our answer to supporting the local music and night life scene. All of these publications reach a unique audience and advertising pack-
ages are available in any combination to reach the print audience you need.
DentonRC.com has recently been re-designed and offers a reach that is in addition to the various print publications. We offer various ad sizes on DentonRC.com, email blasts, daily deals, and Wimgo.com - a
search engine optimization product that ties in social media.
As we continue to evolve to better serve our readers, we are likewise evolving to bring you new, strategic and creative marketing solutions. Your advertising account executive will gladly work with you to identify the best media mix for your needs. One thing that won’t change is our commitment to producing quality news and information, and to delivering valuable, qualified audiences. We look forward to working with you to develop a marketing program to help you grow your business.
Sincerely,
Bill PattersonPublisher, Denton Record-Chronicle

It is an exciting time for journalism as we broaden our horizons to include many forms of media in this multi-media world. But regardless of how we connect with you, we will continue to do our utmost to keep you well informed about the community in which you live.
