Introduction
Dental prosthesis is an artificial replacement of one or more teeth.
There are many types of prosthesis. They can be fixed or removable.

Pros of wearing fixed prosthesis It gives you a natural look and is very
functional. It is not as unstable as removable prosthesis. It feels better. It´s long lasting. They have the same strenght as normal
teeth.
Cons of wearing fixed prosthesis It is very expensive. It requires time for the surgery and for the
healing. It is very painful. The crown needs replacement from 10 to 15
years.
Composition
A typical prosthesis composition includes an acrylic polymeric powder in the form of small beads which is mixed by the dentist or prosthesis preparer with an acrylic monomer composition to form a paste.
