This presentation is on behalf of Denise Dobbs & her family It has been discovered that after 70+ days in the hospital that Denise was diagnosed

with lung cancer. Her friends would like to help support her with continued prayer cards and messages

of encouragement for her gain strength to conquer the battle of this cancer. We all know the power of prayer, the courage that is needed to overcome illness.

There is always the stress, depression and anxiety, changes in memory and concentration, feelings of anger and isolation.

Realizing that her fear of fighting the cancer she is not alone, that there is help, that her friends have not abandoned her in her time of need.

Knowing what she will be facing in these early days of treatment, how it works, will it work, what happens, when will it happen. The pain that can be caused by the treatment, there can be so many other problems that can occur with the treatment, the hair loss, weight loss, effect on the blood, fever, changes in eyes, dryness of skin and the list goes on.

It is my hope that we can support Denise in giving her the moral support she will need, from the time they start the treatments which will take at least 6 weeks.

We encourage her friends to offer this support and in doing so we have set up fundraisers for Denise and Dave Dobbs, to help with unknown medical bills and household expenses as Denise is self employed and running her business has come to a stand still. Her husband Dave has missed work to be by her side.

So fundraisers have been set up with several companies to help with these expenses.

There is a website to post encouraging messages that she will see when she is well enough.

On the site is a way to send her a card through the mail and there is no cost.
