Make a statement in your denim at the Denim Day Fashion Show!

Wednesday, April 24th | 12PM | UTEP Union Plaza Stage Denim Day is a worldwide event where people are encouraged to wear denim jeans to raise awareness of sexual assault. We invite you to participate in the Denim Day Fashion Show to raise awareness for this cause by making a statement with your denim. Complete the form below and submit it to the Student Engagement & Leadership Center (Union Building West, Rm 106). All applications must be received by Monday, April 22nd at 5pm in person or via email at selc@utep.edu. The Student Engagement & Leadership Center will not provide jeans required for participation. 2019 Denim Day Fashion Show Guidelines Please select one representative from your group to walk the runway in the best denim outfit that reflects the message you want to share. Use the box provided on the first page to include the text that will be read by the emcee during the fashion show. The text you submit should reflect the story behind your outfit design, how it relates to Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), and any information you wish to share about your model. Denim Day Fashion Show participants will be separated into the following categories:

• On-Campus Departments

• Registered Student Organizations • Off-Campus Organizations

One group from each category will be recognized. Judging Criteria Scoring will be done on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being most favorable. The highest score possible is 30. Your creation will be judged in the following areas:

• Creativity (1-10) • Relation to SAAM (1-10)

• Overall Presentation (1-10)

By submitting this application, staff/student organization member(s) agree to have their picture taken during the event. All pictures may be used in promotional material including social media
