• Provides pre-built reports and dashboards designed against views, providing immediate enterprise wide visibility

• Data sourced from Oracle Business Analytics Warehouse (OBAW): Pre-built data model that is designed to support analytical requirements of OTBIE

• OBAW loaded via pre-built ETL scripts in ODI that are fed by source-specific (Fusion) data files

• Data Model can not be customized for reporting needs

Business Intelligence Foundation Suite (BIFS)

BIFS is a comprehensive set of enterprise business intelligence tools and infrastructure that includes:

• On premise environment

• Scalable and efficient query and analysis server

• Ad hoc query and analysis tool

• Tools to allow users to create and manage interactive dashboards

• Tools to allow users to create and manage proactive intelligence and alerts

• Enterprise reporting engine which includes Essbase & BI Publisher

BICS

BICS is the Software As A Service (SAAS) Model for BIFS. Some of it’s feature specifics are:

• Cloud based analytics platform with advanced calculations and analytic functions

• Self-serve data load

• Comprised of BI Server service and single-schema Oracle database (DBAAS)

• Advanced visualizations via Visual Analyzer

• Some limitations compared to BIFS:

o No connectivity to Essbaseo Can only source data from DBAAS. No support for

connecting to on premise source(s)o Limited functionality in Online RPDo Does not support integration with LDAP or MSAD

OBIA

• OBIA is a complete prebuilt BI solution that delivers intuitive, role-based intelligence throughout an organization

• OBIA has prebuilt packages for HCM Cloud, EBS, PeopleSoft, JDE, along with universal adaptor for 3rd party applications

• OBIA provides an insight to
