Since 1919, DeMolay has been the key inbuilding the leadership skills of some of the

greatest leaders in government, militaryservice, sports, and entertainment.

a leader and as a man.

DeMolay is more than the fun activi-ties we do. We will help bring out your leadership skills and grow your self confidence.

Our HeritageDeMolay was started in 1919 as a club for young men look-ing to become the best they can be.

You might be asking yourself, what is with the name? Jacques DeMo-lay was a knight in the 14th century and the last Grand Master of the Knights Templar.

Our original members learned the story of how DeMolay remained faithful and refused to betray the Templars. From that story, DeMolays learn to be loyal and live up to their promises.

How it WorksMost DeMolay Chapters meet twice a month. The Master Councilor, the elected leader of the Chapter, will run the meetings and make sure things are getting done.

Chapter meetings are where new members are welcomed, officers elected, and plans are made for the activities you will be part of.

A Variety of ActivitiesMany young men who join DeMolay enjoy the sports programs we offer. DeMolay offers basketball, soccer, dodge ball and even bowling competitions. You do not have to be a varsity athlete to be part of DeMolaysports but team spirit is a must!

In addition to athletics we offer events like paintball, video games, chess

Recognizing AchievementDeMolay has a program of awards andhonors to recognize what you achieveboth in and outside DeMolay. There areawards for bringing in new members,getting good grades in school, living upto the DeMolay values and for being astrong leader in your Chapter.
