Use of the NEBOSH logo

Our brand is built through the use of our name and logo.This document outlines how the NEBOSH logo may be used on

third-party communications.



Regulations for accepted use of the NEBOSH Accredited Course Provider logo are set out in the

NEBOSH ‘Terms and Conditions of Accreditation’ signed by each accredited course provider.

Stipulations for usage of the NEBOSH Accredited Centre logo

NEBOSH provides each Accredited Course Provider with their own unique logo including their

accreditation number.

Providers can use their NEBOSH accredited centre logo as long as they apply by the following:

• The Course Provider abides by the logo guidelines outlined in this document.

• Any inappropriate use of NEBOSH’s logo, as decided by NEBOSH, must be altered at the

Course Provider’s expense, with immediate effect.• Course Providers are not entitled to use the NEBOSH logo without the Accredited Centre

number.

• Course Providers are not entitled to supply the unique logo for inclusion into third party

advertising, where to do so would imply that the third party is accredited when they are in

fact using an accredited centre to deliver the training.

• Usage of the logo must cease if a Course Provider is no longer an accredited centre.

• Course Providers may not advertise or promote NEBOSH qualifications in a manner that is

likely to be misleading to students taking the qualifications.

Use of third party logos

• Course Providers may not use the logos of the regulatory bodies, SQA, Ofqual, Welsh

Government and CCEA in any of their promotional materials.

NEBOSH have registered the trademark ‘NEBOSH ‘and the NEBOSH logo on the UK Trade Marks

Register.

Usage of the NEBOSH logo



The accredited centre logoThe logo consists of the NEBOSH logo and a unique

centre number. Course Providers are not allowed to

use the NEBOSH logo without the accredited centre

number.

The logo must be clearly visible and not distorted

or misrepresented in any way. It must not be

incorporated into any other logo.

To maintain a high standard of quality and consistency,

the logo must be reproduced from the artwork already

supplied. In addition it can be downloaded from

our website www.nebosh.org.uk, from the ‘CourseProviders’ section. It must not be reproduced from

any other printed or photocopied source. The logo is

available in eps. png and jpeg formats.

Size

Care should be taken to ensure that the quality is maintained in reproduction and, in particular,

that the logo is legible. When reducing or enlarging the logo it should always be done

proportionally.

There is no maximum size restriction to the logo. However, you are strongly advised not to use

the logo any smaller than 12mm wide

Positioning

The logo should appear within a minimum protect-

ed clear space area that should be no less than half

the size of the NEBOSH logo.

Colour

The logo consists of Blue, White and Black and

should be reproduced as follows:

• NEBOSH Blue Pantone 280

• Colour Process C100%,M72%,Y0%,

K17%

R1, G69, B138

• Process Black or White

X (minimum 12mm) ½ X

Correct usage of the logo

It is important that the correct logo is used. This will depend upon which context the logo is

being used in.

Use the Full colour logo on white, light backgrounds and light

photographs.

Use the black logo on white, light backgrounds and light

photographs.

Use the white logo on dark background.

Use the white logo on dark photographs.

Incorrect usage of the logo

It is important that the logo is used correctly and consistently on all occasions. The

logo should always be reproduced using the master artwork provided.
