Driven piles are „ tested piles“because the blow count (or permanent set per blow) is oftencorrelated with static or dynamic testing , giving an indication of theirstructural integrity and capacity.
Any deep foundation must be structurally sound and have
adequate geotechnical capacity.

To every action there is always an equal reaction.
In other words: If a force acts to change the state of motion of a body, the body offers a resistance equal and directly opposite to the force.
In other words: If a ram (piston) of the Diesel Hammer acts tochange the state of motion of a pile, the pile soil interface offers a driving resistance (PILE CAPACITY) equal and directly opposite to the piston of the hammer.
The soil is represented by resistance forces acting at the pile soil interface
