This gives customers central control & management of event filtering rather than having to set filter at each idrac & also the filter of “dumber” snmp devices.

OME installed The managed devices configured to send alerts (usually SNMP ) to the OME console A SMTP Gateway address is configured in OME
Prerequisites How To Set SMTP gateway in OMESelect “Preference" tab

Set SNMP“communityString” & trapDestination
Enable SNMP alerts& enable all SNMPTraps
