Jill – Loving Life in a Slimmer World

Working full time, feeling fed up & miserable, being overweight & uncomfortable decided it was time to do something about it!! Now 2 stone lighter Jill is again enjoying life with renewed confidence.

“I couldn’t believe that I could lose weight and I didn’t have to give up all the foods I enjoyed, such as fish & Chips, Curries, Crisps and Chocolate”. Not only had Jill been able to continue to eat the things she loved she has also been able to expand her range of meals to include previously unknown healthy options and improved methods of preparing and cooking food.

Jill has struggled over the years to lose weight, had tried some of the other well-known diets out there but without the success of being able to maintain it. “The weight comes off easy enough but found it hard to maintain, what I loved with Slimming World was being part of a group that was the key to my success, the groups are friendly, fun and very welcoming”

As her clothes were getting tighter and refusing to buy the next size up, Jill checked out the Slim-ming World site and looked for her nearest group. That same week she joined the group and hasn’t looked back since “I really enjoyed meeting similar people with similar weight loss goals and sharing our experiences along the way, also being able to choose a target weight I feel happy with not what I’m being told I should weight”
