Supporting the local coMMunity

As part of our commitment to the Darwin community, each year we offer 60 students from Darwin schools the opportunity to participate in the Leighton Contractors Youth Drive Safe Initiative.

The initiative aims to create safer drivers and safer communities by providing school-based learner drivers with five hours of free professional driving instruction.

Addressing road safety issues resonates throughout our business on many levels, whether developing practices to keep our people safe when working and travelling on road networks, through to contributing to the local community’s commitment to road safety.
