MISC Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (MMS) delivers world-class maritime services and expertise in marine assurance and compliance, and port and terminal operations and management to major oil and gas companies including PETRONAS Group.
Part of the MISC Group of Companies, MMS provides its clients with expert knowledge and high quality services in marine and energy sectors. For more than two decades, MMS has successfully handled over 45,000 vessels of up to 350,000dwt at its terminals in Malaysia with a team of 158 skilled and experienced master mariners, marine engineers, naval architects and marine technologists.

MMS is commissioned by its client, PETRONAS, to administer PETRONAS’ policy on maritime activities and to ensure full compliance with the policy. MMS also provides logistics support services to PETRONAS Carigali at Kemaman and Labuan Supply Base.
To support upstream and downstream activities, MMS provides screening, inspection and assessment services including Offshore Vessels Inspection Database (OVID), Offshore Vessel Management and Self-Assessment

(OVMSA), Ship Inspection Report Programme (SIRE), and Tanker Management Self- Assessment (TMSA), among others. MMS’ systematic and web-based risk management tools - Offshore Support Vessel Inspection System (OSVIS) and Vessel Inspection System (VIS) - ensure the inspected vessels are fit for clients’ requirements. To date, MMS has a proven track record of performing more than 40,000 vessel inspections and screenings by its in-house OCIMF (Oil Companies International Marine Forum) accredited inspectors.
