Deliverance Prayers are when
via our praying (our words),
someone is delivered of a
demon, sickness, disease,
attack, etc.
Luke 4:3-4 (NIV)
[3] The devil said to him, “If you
are the Son of God, tell this stone
to become bread.” [4] Jesus
answered, “It is written: ‘Man
does not live on bread alone.'”
Luke 4:7-8 (NIV)
[7] So if you worship me, it will all
be yours.” [8] Jesus answered, “It is
written: ‘Worship the Lord your
God and serve him only.'”
Luke 4:10 (NIV)
“‘He will command his angels
concerning you to guard you carefully;
Luke 4:12 (NIV)
[12] Jesus answered, “It says: ‘Do not put
the Lord your God to the test.'”
Luke 4:33-36 (NIV)
[33] In the synagogue there was a man possessed by a demon, an evil
spirit. He cried out at the top of his voice, [34] “Ha! What do you
want with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I
know who you are—the Holy One of God!”
Luke 4:33-36 (NIV)
[35] “Be quiet!” Jesus said sternly. “Come out of him!” Then
the demon threw the man down before them all and came
out without injuring him. [36] All the people were amazed
and said to each other, “What is this teaching? With authority
and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!”
10. Prayers of Petition
Petitions are definite,
specific requests based
on a Rhema word
(promise) you’re
standing on.
Philippians 4:6
(AMP)
[6] Do not fret or have any
anxiety about anything,
but in every circumstance
and in everything, by
prayer and petition
(definite requests), with
thanksgiving, continue to
make your wants known
to God.
1 John 5:14-15
(NKJV)
[14] Now this is the confidence
that we have in Him, that if we
ask anything according to His
will, He hears us. [15] And if we
know that He hears us, whatever
we ask, we know that we have
the petitions that we have asked
of Him.
G-1162 (“Supplications” -
KJV)
“from 1189; a petition:--
prayer, request,
supplication.”
G-1189
“middle voice of 1210; to beg
(as binding oneself),
i.e. petition:--beseech, pray
(to), make request. Compare
4441.”
1 Timothy
2:1-2
(NKJV)
[1] Therefore I exhort first of
all that supplications, prayers,
intercessions, and giving of
thanks be made for all men, [2]
for kings and all who are in
authority, that we may lead a
quiet and peaceable life in all
godliness and reverence.
11. Prayers of Intercession
> Intercession is when we:
Collegiate Definition (Webster’s Dictionary)
1: the act of interceding
2: prayer, petition, or entreaty in favor of
another
> To Intercede:
Collegiate Definition (Webster’s
Dictionary)
: to intervene between parties with a
view to reconciling differences :
MEDIATE
INTERCESSION IS WHEN YOU GET
BETWEEN A PERSON AND GOD, AND
YOU MEDIATE OR INTERVENE.
Romans 8:26-27
(NKJV)
[26] Likewise the Spirit also helps in our
weaknesses. For we do not know what
we should pray for as we ought, but the
Spirit Himself makes intercession for us
with groanings which cannot be uttered.
[27] Now He who searches the hearts
knows what the mind of the Spirit is,
because He makes intercession for the
saints according to the will of God.
Romans 8:34
(NKJV)
[34] Who is he who
condemns? It is Christ who
died, and furthermore is also
risen, who is even at the right
hand of God, who also makes
intercession for us.
Hebrews 7:25 (NKJV)
[25] Therefore He is also able to
save to the uttermost those who
come to God through Him,
since He always lives to make
intercession for them.
1 Timothy 2:1-2
(NKJV)
[1] Therefore I exhort first
of all that supplications,
prayers, intercessions, and
giving of thanks be made
for all men, [2] for kings
and all who are in authority,
that we may lead a quiet
and peaceable life in all
godliness and reverence.
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[11] Then the LORD said to Moses: “How long will these
people reject Me? And how long will they not believe Me, with
all the signs which I have performed among them? [12] “I will
strike them with the pestilence and disinherit them, and I will
make of you a nation greater and mightier than they.”
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[13] And Moses said to the LORD: “Then the Egyptians will hear
it, for by Your might You brought these people up from among
them, [14] “and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They
have heard that You, LORD, are among these people; that You,
LORD, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them,
and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar
of fire by night.
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[15] “Now if You kill these people as one man, then the nations which
have heard of Your fame will speak, saying, [16] ‘Because the LORD was
not able to bring this people to the land which He swore to give them,
therefore He killed them in the wilderness.’ [17] “And now, I pray, let
the power of my Lord be great, just as You have spoken, saying,
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[18] ‘The LORD is longsuffering and abundant in mercy,
forgiving iniquity and transgression; but He by no means clears
the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to
the third and fourth generation.’
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[19] “Pardon the iniquity of this people, I pray, according to
the greatness of Your mercy, just as You have forgiven this
people, from Egypt even until now.” [20] Then the LORD
said: “I have pardoned, according to your word;
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[21] “but truly, as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of
the LORD— [22] “because all these men who have seen My glory
and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put
Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice,
[23] “they certainly shall not see the land of which I swore to their
fathers, nor shall any of those who rejected Me see it.
Numbers 14:11-24 (NKJV)
[24] “But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in
him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where
he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.
12. Communion Prayers
A Communion prayer does not go to
God to ask for or receive something,
it is not trying to get something done
- it is simply a time of fellowship or
communion with God.
2 Corinthians 6:14 (NKJV)
[14] Do not be unequally
yoked together with
unbelievers. For what
fellowship has righteousness
with lawlessness? And what
communion has light with
darkness?
[14] The grace of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and the love of
God, and the communion of
the Holy Spirit be with you
all. Amen.
2 Corinthians 13:14 (NKJV)
G-4822 (Koinonia)
“from 2844; partnership, i.e.
(literally) participation, or (social)
intercourse, or (pecuniary)
benefaction:--(to)
communicate(-ation),
communion, (contri-)distribution,
fellowship.”
G-2844
“from 2839; a sharer, i.e.
associate:--companion, X
fellowship, partaker, partner.”
John 15:13-15 (NKJV)
[13] “Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for
his friends. [14] “You are My friends if you do whatever I command
you. [15] “No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know
what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that
I heard from My Father I have made known to you.
John 16:13-15 (NKJV)
[13] “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He
will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His
own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He
will tell you things to come. [14] “He will glorify Me, for He
will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. [15] “All
things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He
will take of Mine and declare it to you.
John 5:19-21
(NKJV)
[19] Then Jesus answered and said to
them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the
Son can do nothing of Himself, but what
He sees the Father do; for whatever He
does, the Son also does in like manner.
[20] “For the Father loves the Son, and
shows Him all things that He Himself
does; and He will show Him greater
works than these, that you may marvel.
[21] “For as the Father raises the dead and
gives life to them, even so the Son gives
life to whom He will.
2 Timothy 4:1-5 (NIV)
[1] In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge: [2] Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. [3] For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit
their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. [4] They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. [5] But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the
duties of your ministry.
2 Timothy 4:2
(AMP)
[2] Herald and preach the Word! Keep your
sense of urgency [stand by, be at hand and
ready], whether the opportunity seems to be
favorable or unfavorable. [Whether it is
convenient or inconvenient, whether it is
welcome or unwelcome, you as preacher of
the Word are to show people in what way
their lives are wrong.] And convince them,
rebuking and correcting, warning and urging
and encouraging them, being unflagging and
inexhaustible in patience and teaching.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV)
[11] It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists,
and some to be pastors and teachers, [12] to prepare God's people for works of service, so
that the body of Christ may be built up [13] until we all reach unity in the faith and in the
knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the
fullness of Christ.
Ephesians 4:11-16 (NIV)
[14] Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here
and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their
deceitful scheming. [15] Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up
into him who is the Head, that is, Christ. [16] From him the whole body, joined and held
together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does
its work.
