Dear Reader
The entire year reverberated with many academic and
co-curricular activities. As we move towards the new
session 2020-21 with gratification and promises afresh,
we reconnect with renewed zeal, gusto and optimism…
The tiny tots of
our school celebrated
the Yellow Day.
The motive of celebrating this day was to
make the kids aware of the colour yellow,
its significance and to develop the fine
motor skills among students.
Students were
all dressed up
in different
hues and tints
of yellow.
Fruit Platter Day was celebrated in
Pre-Primary Section to emphasise healthy
eating habits among tiny-tots. It also keeps
our meals colourful, interesting and full of
flavour.
The Pre-Primary students were
taken to the city church to
enjoy and learn the beautiful
bells, arches, main altar and the
building architecture.
Students were given
a brief on the
culture and faith of
Christianity.
Students of Classes I to V had their
annual picnic to ‘CampDilli’, a tranquil
place away from the chaos and
pollution of the city and enjoyed
themselves with many adventure and
fun-filled activities.
Students of Classes VI to IX were taken to ‘Dev’s Camp’ another getaway from
the city into the lap of nature. Students performed activities like Burma Bridge,
Wall Climbing, Zip Lining along with sumptuous food and great company of
friends and teachers.
The 71st Republic Day was celebrated in all
its solemnity and grandeur at
Delhi Public School Vadodara
on 26 January 2020.
The students saluted the National Flag and pledged themselves to uphold the
honour, integrity, diversity and uniqueness of our country India.
A prayer ceremony worshipping
Goddess Saraswati was held in school
premises led by offerings of flowers
and chants by the Principal, teachers
and staff of the school.
It was also a day of blessing for
students of Classes X and XII who
have put in dedicated efforts for a
promising future ahead.
The customary farewell for the outgoing batch of Class XII
was held on 31 January 2020 by the students and teachers of
Class XI. Nostalgia hung heavy in the air as the students of
Class XI gathered to bid adieu to their dear seniors.
Their speeches along with the
respective class teacher’s speeches
filled the OTS with unusual emotion and
scarcely did an eye keep dry! The
recollections of times spent with school
mates were now priceless memories.
Annual Sports Day was
celebrated with great
enthusiasm in the school on
10 February 2020.
The school’s playground
was overflowing with
zeal, passion and
excitement.
The students displayed a wide array of
energetic and bouncy sports events ranging
from March Past, Track Events, Fan Display,
Pyramid Formation, Pom-Pom, Hoopla et al.
A musical rendition by the teachers of Delhi Public School (Kalali and Harni)
enthralled the audience. The icing on the cake was the dance performances by
the teachers of Delhi Public School Kalali.
A unique endeavour in
school to encourage
parent-child participation,
an art competition was
held where both the child
and the parent spent time
together to create magic
on their easels.
