1.Startup ECDIS

Push [PWR] key on the operation panel of ECDIS.

2. Startup Windows NT Explorer

Note) Execute the following operation at once when Startup menu is displayed. Because

E(Navigation&Planning)function is automatically start after 10 seconds.

After about one minute, Startup menu is displayed on ECDIS as follows.

Move the cursor to the Startup menu and press the right button of the track-ball (Right-click).

PASSWORDdialog box is displayed as follows. Enter5963 as the password and move

cursor to OK button and push the left button of the track-ball (Left-click). Then Windows

Explorer is started.

Note) If E(Navigation&Planning) is started, wait till the following picture is displayed.

Then left-click the [MENU] button on ECDIS picture. The menu-bar is displayed. Exit

ECDIS by selecting (0) Exit.

3. Delete ARCS chart and permit by Windows NT Explorer

Delete E:ECDIS_DATAarcs*.*. (Dont delete E:ECDIS_DATAarcs folder.)

Delete F:ECDIS_DATAarcs*.*. (Dont delete F:ECDIS_DATAarcs folder.)

(If F:ECDIS_DATAarcs is already empty, its no problem.)

Delete these folders

and files.
