Dorje Namjon [posted Jan 2010] Rinpoche gave the following instructions on blessing water with Dorje Namjon mantra for the chabtru puja.

Deity Practices for Purification The following are instructions on how to bless water for the chabtru puja—a purifying ritual done for you by a lama—or for washing and purifying yourself with the deity Dorje Namjon.1

You can also do this with other deities that purify pollution, such as Tromo Metseg.

If there is paralysis, in addition to the Dorje Namjon mantra, you can recite the mantras for paralysis, to blessthe water. Then the water is blessed and you can use it for washing, and from this purification it is verycommon that people are healed.

Do this practice many times, just doing it once is not enough. Also, it depends on your karma and the karmayou have with the lama who does the chabtru puja for you.

If you have heavy paralysis, then you have to do it many times, 30, 40, or more. After the lama does thechabtru puja for you, then collect the water that has been blessed by the lama. Then, when you do thewashing purification, you mix the collected water from the puja with the other water in a basin, bathtub, orcontainer, and then do washing purification with very strong faith and think that you are purified.

This is the visualization: All the buddhas and bodhisattvas are above the water, and also above the water isDorje Namjon on a lotus and moon seat. As you recite the mantra, all the power and blessings flow down asnectar from the holy bodies of all the buddhas and bodhisattvas, from Chenrezig, into Dorje Namjon's heart.Dorje Namjon then dissolves into the water, blessing it and making it powerful to remove all obstacles.

After you finish the blessing, with wisdom faith, you wash.

The visualization if you are using the deity Tromo Metseg is as follows: Visualize the deity standing on yourhead pouring water on you as you do washing purification.2

Dorje Khadro Practice [posted Jan 2010] Rinpoche sent the following advice on how to do this practice.

If you have many practices to do, you can get a statue of Dorje Khadro. This way you don’t have to visualizethe deity, you can just look at the statue.

This is a very powerful purification practice and you collect numberless merits. Using a statue, you can do itvery quickly, it makes it very easy, and you don’t have to visualize. It doesn’t become an effort, and becomesvery easy.

You can order the statue from Nepal. You can ask the monk you know at Kopan Monastery. You can also dothis practice if you are staying in different places.
