The banquet room features a wall of large windows, two retractable presentation screens, and sound system. The room can be sectioned off to size with flexible seating and table options. Located on the main floor of the Serrick Campus Center, the room is accessible from all directions of the campus. Capacity: 96 banquet; 130 theater

t HUBBARD BANQUET ROOM u

Accessible by elevator or spiral staircase, this second-floor room in the Serrick Campus Center features a vaulted and beamed ceiling with dimmable lighting. Comfortable executive-style seating and a retractable screen can accommodate your meeting, or the room can be converted into a smaller dining room or reception area. A balcony overlooks the Colonnade Green. Capacity: 60 theater; 30 banquet

t BUCHMAN BOARD ROOM u

Located on the second floor of the Serrick Campus Center, this space features a beamed and vaulted ceiling and artwork from the College’s permanent collection. The room accommodates chairs and tables for meetings or small receptions and has a retractable presentation screen. A balcony overlooks the front lawn of the campus. Capacity: 40 theater; 30 banquet

t CULTURAL ARTS ROOM u

Located in the Serrick Campus Center, the dining hall features multi-level dining with seating options of high-top tables and stools, tables and chairs, and booths. The contemporary space has a wall of windows that overlooks the Colonnade Green. Capacity: 150 banquet style. Available seasonally

t SODEXO CATERING uFrom a simple coffee break to an elegant event, Defiance College Dining Services is readily available for all of your catering needs. Services include breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner and can accommodate any food service need from informal deli trays for the smallest group to full service dinners for 300. We feature an extensive menu of casual and formal dining options. These include picnics, box meals, cafeteria-style buffets, and plate-waited selections that can be served on-campus or in your home or office. Additionally, we showcase a renowned bakery that provides specialty cakes, pastries, and desserts guaranteed to melt the strongest of wills. Our dedicated staff looks forward to providing you with quality service and outstanding food to make your next event a success.

In addition to our many rentable banquet rooms and meeting spaces, the Defiance College Events Department is here to help you with all of your needs, for every type of occasion. From audio visual equipment, teleconferencing, and other technological support, to catering, room setups, and decorations we are your one stop shop.

Get down to business in this small, functional meeting space located in the Serrick Campus Center. The room features a conference table, ten executive chairs, and a wall-mounted dry erase board/projection screen. Capacity: 10 around an oval table

Need more space or need multiple breakout rooms? We have classrooms and computer labs, many are equipped with audio visual equipment, video conferencing, and access to individual computers.

t COMPUTER LABS & CLASSROOMS uElevated theater-style seating and wide stage provide a comfortable venue for performances and speakers. Professional lighting and sound and a proscenium curtain accommodate special needs in this recently renovated auditorium. Located in Dana Hall.Capacity: 300 theater seating

t SCHOMBURG AUDITORIUM u

This recently renovated space located in Dana Hall features a south wall of windows and high ceiling. The gallery makes a comfortable space for a small reception. Located in the Art Center.

t WOMEN’S COMMISSION ART GALLERY u

This peaceful chapel, located in Schauffler Hall, sets the tone for an intimate inspirational gathering. Mosaic-style stained glass windows provide a focal point. A spinet-style piano and moveable seating are available. Capacity: 50 theater seating

t FORD CHAPEL u

For your outside gatherings, campus green spaces can be reserved as well as our large banquet tent. Whether you choose to have the tent set up with or without sides, this is a great space for reunions, receptions, weddings and more. The tent can be set up as a 40x40, 40x60, or 40x80 space.

This multi-purpose space can accommodate large-scale events, from sporting events to concerts, banquets and receptions. New retractable bleachers and moveable theater-style seating maximize attendance in this full gymnasium. Capacity: 1,800 theater; 400 banquet

The 4,000-seat Justin F. Coressel Stadium was completed in 1994 and features a recently installed synthetic turf playing surface. The premier facility also houses an NCAA-approved outdoor track, an athletic training room, and a full working pressbox with webcasting capabilities.

t JUSTIN F. CORESSEL STADIUM u

Planning on a big crowd?NO PROBLEM.

The George M. Smart features all the requirements needed for indoor track and field competitions. The center also has four tennis courts, two batting cages, fitness center and practice areas for nearly every sport. A descending curtain can transform the large space into a banquet or conference setting. Capacity: 400 (or more) banquet style
