Through my rifle scope I could make out a few does atthe game feederbut they were constantly looking back intothe heavy woods and acting very attentive. This is a clearindication a dominate buck or two is close by and all a ruttingbuck has on his mind is love.

These older bucks with large racks did not become thisway by being stupid so as I waiting for the scene to unfoldI was silently hoping the desire to chase the does wouldover-come the bucks natural wariness.
