The system can be used for safely lowering modules such as PLET’s PLEM’s Manifolds, and general subsea hardware from any crane barge or vessel of opportunity in deep water hostile environments. The GMC ICPLS system offers fast deployment, using high fatigue, quick connect snaplay connector’s on light weight high strength tubular. Once in position the subsea module is released and the deployment system is recovered to surface and ready for the next deployment. Reducing installation time and cost, and enabling large heavy modules to be lowered safely in a controlled manner in deep water applications.
