General Guidelines
1. The competition is open to all UG students / Interns /PG students/ PhD scholars from Ayurveda stream.
2. General public can also participate in separate category
3. Student or person can participate in anyone of following category according to their eligibility-
• Category A: For UG Students from Ayurveda stream
• Category B: For PG Students/PhD Scholars from Ayurveda stream
• Category C: For General public
4. Topics for Essay
• Category A: Role of Sharad Ritucharya for maintaining the health.(!"#!$% &'()* +, -(. /012%#3

• Category B: Role of seasonal regimen (Ritucharya) in the maintenance of health in the wake of
COVID-19 Pandemic.
(Participant can write an essay either in HINDI or ENGLISH)
5. Essay should be in PDF format having font size 12 with 1.5 spaces, heading should be bold in capital let-
ters having font size 14. It should be in English (Font- Times New Roman) or in Hindi (Font-mangal / kru-
tidev10) having words not more than 2,000.
6. Verbatim of the internet sources or from the journals on the mentioned topic will not be accepted. Only
original work will be appreciated
7. No part of essay should have been published earlier nor should it be under consideration for publication or
a contest elsewhere.
8. The author will solely be responsible for any issue arising out of copyright or conflict of interest of submit-
ted essay.

9. Any form of plagiarism up to 10 % will be admissible.
10. Only one submission is allowed per author per email and Co-authorship is not permitted.
11. Soft copy of an essay, along with scanned copy of identity card of college or institute issued by principal /
head of department/ institute, should be submitted through Google form.

13. The identity including category, Adhar card number, name, name of institution or any other detail should
not be revealed anywhere in the essay.
14. Panel of judges will assess the essays after coding and the decision of panel will be final. No queries will
be entertained after declaration of results.
15. The result will be declared in a ceremony organized by NIA, Jaipur.
16. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of first and second in each category separately.
17. All participants should strictly abide by the guidelines. Any deviance shall lead to disqualification
18. The decision regarding acceptance, rejection and the award of the prizes for the essay would be solely by
competent authority, National Institute of Ayurveda, Deemed to be University (De-novo), Jaipur and remain
abiding to all the participants.
