•Child dedication is a public acknowledgement parents make that their child is a gift from God and that they entrust his/her life completely in the Hands of God.•It is also an opportunity for them to express publically their desire to lead and spiritually nurture the child so child will develop a desire to love God and love others.•Finally, it is the overflow of the heart to give thanks to God for this wonderful gift – this child…ALEXANDER JOSEPH Q. NAUNGAYAN !

If GOD doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks.If GOD doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap.It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late,and work your worried fingers to the bone.

Don’t you know he enjoys giving rest to those he loves?

1Samuel 1:27 I asked him for this child, and he gave me what I asked for. 1Sa 1:28 So I am dedicating him to the LORD. As long as he lives, he will belong to the LORD." Then they worshiped the LORD there.

Joseph & Mary dedicated Jesus (Luke 2:21-24)

Luke 2:22 The time came for Joseph and Mary to perform the ceremony of purification, as the Law of Moses commanded. So they took the child to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, Luk 2:23 as it is written in the law of the Lord: "Every first-born male is to be dedicated to the Lord."

May I call your attention to the commands of God recorded in Holy Scripture.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7 tells us: "Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on their children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

Desire to love the Lord your God with all your soul, mind and strength and teach Alisha to do the same. You are the primary and most effective, most influential model to Alisha showing in every area of your life the wonderful love for God, love for others, respect for the elders , law abiding citizens and giving value to her life and purpose .
