These handcrafted and hand painted wooden gadgets, also known as nut-biters, resembled a human figure or similar shape and became so popular, that they inspired numerous German folktales, which later became the basis for Tchaikovsky's famous ballet The Nutcracker. Decorative Wooden Nutcracker

Nutcracker is a kitchen tool designed to crack and open shells of a various nuts such as

Assemblage instructions 1. Join the Top (Part 1), Side (Part 2), Bottom (Part 3) and the Back (Part 4) together with glue.

2. Pull the Handle (Part 6) trough the hole on the Threaded Axle (Part 5) and then attach the

Balls (Part 7) with glue on each end of the Threaded Axle. Wait for glue to dries out.

3. Screw the subassembly from the previous step into the hole with the thread on the subassembly made in first step.
