The movement consists of a series of activities in the IT field, which are held throughout a year and culminate at a unique Computer Festival «de:coded». The Festival is a bright event, where we summarize the outcome of the whole movement for a year.

Educational courses, competitions, lectures are examples of activities we usually carry out. The main idea is to give any person an opportunity to learn something new or to practice existing knowledge.

In the first place we are focused on young people who see their future in the IT field. We want to show that the world offers an incredible amount of opportunities and everything depends on our desire only. This is our main challenge; therefore all our activities are educational or informative.

Festival «de:coded» is a unique Ukrainian IT Festival that lasts for 72 hours. Participants come with their own computers which are connected in a single network with Internet access.

Professional competitions, presentations, practical cases, unusual exhibition, friendly atmosphere and numerous new acquaintances – all these possibilities are available to the participants of our festival. Spectators can attend all the activities that do not require a computer.

Amount of events increases as we approach to the festival. Here you can see only some of the projects we are working on. If you wish to look through the list of active and planned activities, please contact Bosenko Yevheniy (evgeniy@decoded.org.ua).

It includes everything that is relevant to the hardware of computers and other devices. Robots designing and building, extreme overclocking, upgrading appearance and functions of components clearly illustrate this area.

In our view, the essence of design lies in the personalization of devices and programs for any category of users. Activities where you need to increase interactivity and interfaces thinking through usability of each item to conservation of style and elegance, will apply to this direction.

Activities main point of which is to design the software part belong to this category. Sports programming, application development for mobile platforms, low-level programming, development of socially-significant software are examples of this direction.

Movement «de:coded» combines complex of projects and activities in various fields of computer industry. All events are classified into six directions and visually described in the form of tags.

The festival is a distinctive annual culmination of the movement, which summarizes all the projects and activities.

Activities connected with business partners search; discussion of ongoing projects, problems of IT-industry and business opportunities as well as thinking over implementation of new ideas are in this area.

Events with high level of entertainment and interactivity which may contain public speaking and demonstrations of products apply to this direction. In addition, the festival will contain a number of entertaining activities.
