Composite Floor Decks is a steel ribbed profile sheet, which in combination with concrete acts as a floor structure. The ribs and embossment on the sheet help to bind it with the concrete. In a composite floor, the metal deck sheet is first laid on a network of beams and purlins, reinforced with a wire mesh. Concrete (about 4’’ thick) is then poured evenly over the deck sheet. The sheet acts as framework for concrete as wel l , reducing the hass les of conventional shuttering. Once the concrete hardens, the metal sheet and the concrete form a unified bond that is equivalent to traditional reinforced concrete.

Light weight construction that is self-supporting and hassle free. Larger spans are possible using this technology.
