Justin Mayfield and Ben Houchin working to install stainless steel piping for 36motors and disconnects that are in the lower rendering area of Tyson Fresh Meats.There are many challenges in this area including low ceilings, open conveyors,
extreme heat, and working around the operations of the plant. Justin and Ben havebeen able to stay ahead of schedule by working long hours to keep the plant runningwhile continuing to make progress.

Clint Townsend hasrecently obtained his RCDD certification which is a level of certification that is givento information technology systems professionals who have achieved a certain level ofexcellence in the field . 1. Samantha Alexander has sent out an EVITE to the Holiday Party. PleaseRSVP within the next few days. This is very important so that we can plan forthe appropriate amount of food and beverages (add +1 on the EVITE if you willbe accompanied by someone).

Volunteer
The Arc of Sedgwick County
The Wired to Help team has volunteered to help collect donations again onDecember 12 for the The Arc of Sedgwick County's "Lights on Douglas @ St. Paul." We will be collecting donations and handing out candy canes to cars driving throughto view the beautiful Christmas lights. We need 6 to 10 volunteers from 5:15 to9:15.The Arc will graciously provide dinners for all volunteers.
A sign up sheet will be located at the front desk of Decker or you can email LisaStafford.
A big thank you to the eight decker employees and their families who spent theirevening volunteering at the ARC of Sedgwick County Christmas Light Display. Volunteers were fortunate enough to have perfect weather to take donations anddirect traffic as cars entered the display. The ARC served pizza, cookies and hotchocolate.
The ARC makes a difference in the lives of individuals and families living withintellectual and developmental disabilities. To learn more about the mission of thisorganization, click here.

Angel Tree
The Decker Electric Wired to Help team is sponsoring an Angel Tree this year tobenefit the Wichita Children's home. There is a tree located at the front desk withitems needing to be purchased for kids from newborn to 18. Please have all items toDecker by Friday, December 7th. Volunteers will be taking items to the Children'sHome that afternoon. If you would like, you could order items and have themdelivered directly to Decker. There is no need to wrap the gifts. Thank you for all youdo to spread holiday cheer to others in the community!

The Lord's Diner
Thank you to everyone who gave their time volunteering at the Lord's Diner thismonth. Volunteers did everything from mopping floors, cleaning off tables, doingdishes, and serving drinks. This was our first time helping at the Lords Diner as agroup, and we had a great turnout! We loved working with the other volunteers andplaying a part in helping our community. We encourage everyone to come out andhelp next time!
Training
3M Training
On Tuesday Nov 13th Decker Electric brought in 3M for some medium voltage wiretermination training. Misty Williams and Brian Foldery presented the training that willallow Decker Electric to extend the warranty on our medium voltage terminations to20 years. We spent about 4 hours in the classroom, and then about 2 hours actuallymaking some terminations. The guys that took the class will receive a certificate from3M in medium voltage terminations. This type of training makes Decker Electric andits employees some of the best trained electricians out there. Our customers havecome to appreciate the knowledge base of Decker Electric employees. Thanks to3M, and all of the guys who took the class.

Schneider Electric Innovation Summit
Ben Wilson attended the Summit in Atlanta and also had the privilege of participatingin one of the panel discussions about the Schneider Electric EcoStruxure Powersystem. Decker Electric became the first certified EcoStruxure Power EcoXpert in theUS earlier this year.
