    It is my recommendation that we implement a weight

    control program that promotes healthy and physical fit

    Leaders feel that if there are too many Soldiers in the

    overweight program, it is a direct reflection of a

    command not doing enough physical training

    Implement an Army Weight Control Program according to

    AR 600-9

    Will be in compliance with Army, Brigade, and Squadronstandards

    Develop and educate leaders and soldiers on the program

    Have the Master Fitness trainer for the company develop a

    physical fitness regimen solely for overweight personal so

    they can lose weight

    It is my recommendation that course of action #1 is the

    best course to execute. This will meet all standards

    from higher headquarters, Soldiers will be able to

    physically endure their duties during combat

    operations, and develop proper plans of action with

    the help from their leaders to succeed and get off the

    program.
