38 years ago Sunshine

Foundation started with one

dream. Bobby, a 4 year old

diagnosed with Leukemia,

dreamed of seeing snow.

Bill Sample, a Philadelphia

cop stationed on protective

duty at St. Christopher’s

Hospital saw the struggle

families with sick children went through every

day, so he started Sunshine Foundation by

taking Bobby and his family on a trip to the

Pocono Mountains. 38 years later Sunshine

Foundation has granted over 37,000 dreams.
