Hello ECD Board, Committee Chairs and Kiwanians, !I hope your Winter Break was phenomenal and restful! 2015 is here and it’s time for some serious business. Before we talk about business, I want to thank all of you for your hard work and dedication. To the board and the committee chairs, it has been an absolute pleasure working closely with you. Your passion for service never ceases to impress me. To the Kiwanians, thank you for your constant support, as none of this would be possible without you. I know that we will be able to continue the amazing work in 2015!
The next few months will be stressful and exciting! With District Convention approaching, we will be focusing more and more on preparations for the best Convention that Eastern Canada has ever seen. However, we must not forget about all the other important aspects of Key Club. We have to ensure that all clubs immediately pay their dues and that Key Clubs start preparing for executive elections. I know that this is a crazy time considering school exams and university/scholarship applications. I trust that all of you will continue to work hard to serve members of your division and District. !Yours in Service, !Mona Adib

Winter Board at the ECD
From January 2 to 4, the Eastern Canada District Board met in Kitchener to begin planning the logistics of the annual District Convention. Board members discussed the theme and schedule and prepared the script.
As well, this was an incredible bonding experience. Board members met International Trustee Gary Cheng, who can now be considered a
honorary Canadian (and an avid spicy wings eater).
