DECEMBER 2017 NEWS LETTER
CAPE BULLMASTIFF CLUB
FROM THE CHAIR: The Cape Bullmastiff Club has three types of friends - friends for a reason,
friends for a season and friends for a lifetime. We love and cherish you all and extend our best
wishes to all our members, friends and their families and hope your year- end / seasonal
festivities and holidays are happy… and we wish you all everything of the best for 2018. 😊
Subscriptions for the new year are now due and remain the same - R120 a year and R75 for
pensioners. The CBC account is as follows;
First National Bank, Strand Branch, Code 200612, Account Number 62330734048
Most our members are pet owners – homes that are essential to the continuation of the breed
with only a small minority of members exhibiting their dogs. Some shows in Gauteng (the hub
of South African ‘dogdom’) are not seeing any Bullmastiffs being exhibited at all.
Highlighted are some important Club dates to mark off on your planner - Saturday the 13th
January – the first Committee meeting of the year, Saturday the 20th January the CBC AGM
where a new Committee must be voted in for the following two years and Sunday the 28th
January – the all- important annual Trophy Show – schedule below.
Please continue to support your Club.
Helene Booysen from Landbouweekblad has been invited to cover the occasion so
let’s bring out ‘our best and show them off’
