The Gospel at ChristmasThe word Gospel means good, glad, great news for all people (Luke 2:10). Great joy should be the

response of all people, yet, sad to say, today the Gospel has been rejected, due to the god of this world blinding

the minds of people, lest they would see the light of the glorious Gospel.

The Gospel is the Person of Jesus Christ, the Finished Work of the cross, salvation by grace, eternal purpose

in and with God, Heaven as our home forever. Wow, what good news. In 1 Timothy 1:11, Paul said that the glorious

Gospel was committed to his trust. He thanks God for mercy, grace, faith, love and longsuffering. Before, he was

injurious, a persecutor, a blasphemer and the chief of sinners. Now he is saved, sealed, secure, loved; now he is

a new creation in Jesus Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 9 Paul uses the word Gospel 9 or 10 times; thats what is on his mind! In Romans chapters

1 and 15 the Gospel is on his mind and in his heart. These days, so many thoughts, concerns, details, problems,

sins, and weaknesses occupy the mind instead of the Gospel. A recent testimony from a leader in Iran Alive

Ministries said people will forgo food for long periods of time to buy a satellite disc to see and hear the Gospel.

All has happened for the fur therance of the Gospel (Philippians 1:12). In jail in Rome the Gospel was the key to

Pauls life. What a great life and time in the Gospel. The shepherds, the kings, Israel, all have an oppor tunity for the

Gospel. In your home, neighborhood, city, and country, pray and look for Gospel doors to be opened to a lost and

dying world. God has given us His Son and we can bring the good news to every person in every place.

    In His Gospel,
