• Russian ban on fresh/chilled Norwegian farmed fish introduced 1 January 2006.Justification: Heavy metals – No proofs found
• Frozen farmed fishIt is now clear that companies that want to export frozen farmed fish to Russia also will need to be inspected and approved by Russian authorities
• Wild fishNo demands so far regarding inspection or new approval systems
